Registration Rates:
-Solo Racer: $50
-Tandem Team: $75
-All prices go up by $10 after midnight on August 31, 2026
Packet pick-up and check-in available on-site at the Kentucky Riverkeeper check-in table the morning of the event.
Safety briefing (required for all racers): 9:30 AM
Start Time: 10 AM
Beginning and take-out: Kelley's Landing boat ramp
Race winners will receive:
- Awards for top 3 finalists in each category (male, female, and tandem teams)
All participants will receive:
-Hellbender Festival decal
-Hellbender Festival t-shirt
-race bib
-whistle
If you do not want to walk far with your canoe or kayak, get there early to park as close as possible. You cannot drop your watercraft off at the boat ramp.
